AAHH...September

Hello, Friends!!  Today has to be one of the prettiest days we've had in a while.  It's sunny, cloudless (although I do love the look a few puffy white clouds against a crisp blue sky) and just hot enough to wear shorts...but not HAVE to wear shorts.  I love it! If you are getting bored with me going on and on about the weather...hold on to your britches, because in October, I will be gettin' CRAZY about it!!

For real, people... I LOVE October!  No, not because it has Halloween way down at the bottom of it...but for the AWESOME WEATHER and the incredible blue skies!  Here's my advice about October:  If you are wanting to have a family photo taken, or if you just LOVE taking photos, here's a little tid -bit from me, the unprofessional (but pretty darn good if you ask me) photographer.  You CAN'T take a bad photo in the month of October!!!  Just head outside and shoot away.  Sunsets and dusk are AWESOME, too!  Just make sure your flash is on and you will look like a super model in every picture.  You will thank me later.  You are welcome.

For those of you who missed it, today is 5 days after my birthday.  Yes, my birthday.  Surprisingly, this year, I didn't even care about it.  Usually I freak out, curl into the fetal position and cry.  But, for some reason, it didn't bother me this year.  Now, don't think that I am going to start going around just randomly telling people my age.  Maybe that will come in time.  Right now, I am just thankful that God has allowed me to finally enjoy a birthday and not dread it!  That being said, I want to thank my sweet Irish twin sister, (we are the same age for 8 days), Tomianne, for the delicious lunch at Marche.  We HAVE to do it again soon.  It was too good!  If you live in Nashville and haven't dined at Marche, you are missing out.  The mac and cheese is to DIE for!  Marche is owned by one of Tomianne's long-time friends, Margot.  Stop in, sit a while, and enjoy some delicious, local, artisan food!

I hope all of you are enjoying September so far.  I know I am.

Blessings,
Mary Frances
